The original Honda shifter is an accessory that replaces your Africa Twin's selector rod, allowing you to shift gears without closing the throttle and without clutching. It works both up and down (up & down). This offers an excellent driving experience and enhances the overall performance of your CRF1000 or CRF1100.

Note: Only suitable for Africa Twin models before 2022. See 08U70-MLG-E00 for new models.

Requires the Honda SCS short circuit connector 070PZ-ZY30100 for installation.

Description

The installation of the shifter is very easy; simply replace the shift rod and plug in the designated connector on the motorcycle. Once activated, when you operate the shifter, it will cut the ignition for a few milliseconds, allowing you to shift up without closing the throttle. During downshifting, a slight blip of the throttle will enable you to shift to a lower gear without using the clutch.

Note that the cut-off time adapts based on the RPM to allow its use even at low revs.
