The shifter replaces the gear selector and allows for shifting gears without closing the throttle and without clutching in both directions (upshift / downshift).

Description

The installation of the shifter is very easy; simply replace the shift rod and plug in the designated connector provided on the motorcycle. Once activated, when you engage the shift lever, it will cut the ignition for a few milliseconds, allowing you to shift gears on the fly without cutting the throttle. During downshifting, a small blip of the throttle will enable you to shift to a lower gear without disengaging the clutch.

Note that the cut-off time adjusts according to the RPM to allow usage even at low engine speeds.
